‘Affliction’ is a three track EP with Martha Rose’s melancholic lyrics and subtle melodies, arranged with the tender touch that only Ben and Magnus can bring.

The title is inspired by a mini series of religious poetry by the 17th century Welsh/English writer George Herbert, whose desperate reach out towards the divine and the devotional inspired Martha with a kind of comforting parallel in her own struggles to come to term with the challenges of love and human fear.
